Workplace Audits

Not sure where you stand with your WHS?

… An audit is the answer.

Before you can fix it, you need to know what you're working with.

A Click Safety audit gives you a clear, honest picture of where your business is at — what's working, what needs attention, and what to do next.

We offer three types of audit

Not sure which one is right for you?

DESKTOP AUDIT

Want to know if your documentation holds up?

A Desktop Audit is a detailed review of your existing WHS Management Plan and Risk Register, checked against the requirements of current Western Australian WHS legislation. No site visit required.

Unlike a standard document review, we start with a 30-minute video call to learn about your business before we look at a single page. That conversation matters — it lets us identify gaps that a document-only review would miss entirely. Risks that aren't recorded anywhere because nobody thought to include them.

After the review, you receive a clear audit report covering the good, the areas needing attention, and the items missing altogether. Every finding comes with a practical recommendation so you know exactly what to do next.

Best for: Businesses with existing WHS documentation that want to know if it meets their legal obligations — or those preparing for a tender or client prequalification.

What we need from you: Your WHS Management Plan, Business Risk Register, and any policies or procedures referenced in those documents.

GENERAL WORKPLACE AUDIT

A complete picture of your workplace — from the paperwork to the shop floor.

The General Workplace Audit is our most comprehensive audit service.

We come to you, walk your site, inspect your workplace, and review your documentation — then we give you a detailed report with rated findings, photo evidence, and a clear recommendation for each and every item.

We start with an opening discussion to understand your business and operations. From there, we conduct a physical walkthrough — inspecting plant and equipment, machinery, chemicals, and your general work environment — speaking with your people along the way about their training and onboarding experience. The physical inspection informs our documentation review, so we know exactly what questions to ask when we sit down with your paperwork.

Before we leave, we'll talk you through everything we've flagged and answer your questions on the spot. So you are not left guessing.

Within 2 business days, you receive your full audit report — and if anything needs fixing, we can help with that too.

Best for: Any business wanting a complete, transparent assessment of their workplace health and safety — whether you've never had a safety review before, or something has changed and you want to make sure you're still on track.

On-site time: Up to 4 hours.

Timeframe: Audit report delivered 2 business days following site visit.

CONSTRUCTION & SUITABILITY AUDIT

WHS audits built for construction — from site compliance to government prequalification.

We offer two construction-specific audit services, which are often delivered together.

The Suitability Audit is a desktop review of your site-specific documentation — your Site Management Plan and Site Risk Register — assessed against the requirements of the principal contractor or government body overseeing the project. No site visit required. It tells you whether your documentation is fit for purpose before work begins.

The Construction Site Audit is an on-site compliance assessment of an active construction project. We attend the site, hold a brief opening discussion, and conduct a thorough walkthrough — inspecting safety practices, verifying inductions, speaking with workers, and checking that what's written in the Safety Management Plan is what's actually happening on the ground.

These two audits work best together. The Suitability Audit gives us the knowledge to hold the site audit to a higher standard — and gives you confidence that your systems and your site are aligned before anyone else comes to check.

Best for:

  • Construction companies and subcontractors who need to demonstrate compliance;

  • Government bodies and principal contractors requiring regular site audits;

  • Businesses tendering for government contracts, Tier 1 construction work, or major client prequalification systems.
